Any other vehicle with a mass of 1000 tonnes can be expected to have a load of 30 kN/m2. Loads which are likely to occur on snow bridges are: 30 kN/m2 for ice 15kN/m2 for a 60 tonne dump trailer. This route was also not practical for the majority of bridges in Sweden. The large snow pads required were becoming easier to obtain and costed as a factor.
